Please be advised of the following event at Government House, Wellington.
Thursday 26 July at 10am.
The Governor-General, the Hon Anand Satyanand, will hold an investiture ceremony for the recipient of the Victoria Cross for New Zealand, Corporal Bill Henry Apiata.
Media wishing to cover this event must contact the Public Affairs Officer for accreditation by 5pm, Monday 23 July, specifying the individuals attending the ceremony.
Only those media representatives accredited to attend the function will be admitted on the day, without exceptions. Numbers may be limited, especially regarding multiple requests from the same publication/outlet.
Instructions for media accredited to the event will be issued on Wednesday 25 July.
