On Tuesday 28 August 2007, at 10.30am and 2.30pm, the Hon Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, will hold a series of investitures at Government House, Wellington.
Media wanting to attend these ceremonies must seek accreditation from the Public Affairs Officer, Antony Paltridge, no later than 9am on 28 August on 04 382 0827 or 021 470 583 or antony.paltridge@govthouse.govt.nz

Tuesday 28 August 10.30am
- Sir Kenneth James Keith, Member of the Order of New Zealand.
- Mrs Alison Burns Quentin-Baxter, DCNZM, for services to the law.
- Dr Patricia Frances Grace, DCNZM, for services to literature.
- Mr Robert Kinsela (Kim) Workman, QSO, for services to prisoner welfare.
- Mr David Alexander Fagan, ONZM, for services to shearing.
- Ms Ginette Denise McDonald, ONZM, for services to entertainment.
- Mr Jonah Tali Lomu, MNZM, for services to rugby.
- Detective Sergeant Brian James Schaab, QSM, for services to the NZ Police.
Tuesday 28 August 2.30pm
- Prof Graeme Stuart Fraser, CNZM, for services to education and the community.
- Susan Jane Sheldon, CNZM, for services to business.
- Rae Scott Julian, QSO, for public services.
- Dr Rosemary Anne Beresford, ONZM, for services to medicine.
- Mrs Ruby Alice Aberhart, ONZM, for services to senior citizens and the community.
- Professor Emeritus Martin Mitchell Ferguson, ONZM, for services to dentistry and palliative care.
