In ceremonies on Tuesday 1 April, Wednesday 2 April and Friday 4 April, Hon Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, will hold a series of investiture ceremonies at Government House, Wellington.

In ceremonies on Tuesday 1 April, Wednesday 2 April and Friday 4 April, Hon Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, will hold a series of investiture ceremonies at Government House, Wellington.
Media wanting to attend these ceremonies must seek accreditation from the Public Affairs Officer, Antony Paltridge, on 04 382 0827 or 021 470 583 no later than 9am on the day of the ceremony.

Tuesday 1 April 10.30am
- Hon Margaret Shields, Wellington, DCNZM, for services to local government and women.
- Hon Margaret Austin, Christchurch, CNZM, for services to the community.
- Professor Gary Hawke, Wellington, CNZM, for services education and economics.
- Professor Richard Earle, Palmerston North, ONZM, for services to engineering.
- Associate Professor Peggy Fairbairn-Dunlop, Wellington, ONZM, for services to research on families.
- Dr Harry Keys, Taupo, ONZM, for services to conservation.
- Air Vice-Marshal Graham Lintott, Wellington, ONZM, for services to the NZ Defence Force.
- Arthur Klap, Wellington, MNZM, for services to sport and recreation.
Wednesday 2 April 10.30am
- Professor Edward Baker, North Shore, CNZM, for services to science.
- Judith Fyfe, Wellington, ONZM, for services to oral history and journalism.
- Tony Gavin, Wellington, ONZM, for services to the Ministry of Social Development.
- Caroline Kellaway, Christchurch, ONZM, for services to the community.
- Dr Fred Davey, Otaki, and Dr Tim Haskell, Lower Hutt, NZ Antarctic Medal, for services to Antarctic science.
Wednesday 2 April 2.30pm
- Sydney Bradley, Christchurch, CNZM, for services to business and the public health sector.
- Robin Kay, Wellington, CNZM, for services to art and military history.
- Robert Martin, Wanganui, MNZM, for services to people with disabilities.
- Nigel Ogle, Normanby, QSM, for services to historical research and museums.
- Edna and Helen Yates, Christchurch, QSM, for services to netball.
- Air Vice-Marshal David Bamfield, Wellington, Distinguished Service Decoration, for services to the NZ Defence Force.
Friday 4 April 10.30am
- Hon Justice Eddie Durie, Wellington, DCNZM, for services to the Maori Land Court, Waitangi Tribunal and High Court.
- Garry Moore, Christchurch, CNZM, for services to local government.
- Judith Carter, Palmerston North, CNZM, for services to education.
- Professor Sylvia Rumball, Palmerston North, CNZM, for services to science.
- George Tanner, Wellington, QC CNZM, for services to the law.
- Rev Kahu Durie, Palmerston North, QSM, for services to Maori and the community (also an aunt of Hon Eddie Durie who is also receiving an honour).
