Envoys from Russia, Uruguay, Seychelles and Egypt present credentials.

The Ambassadors of the Russian Federation, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and High Commissioner for Seychelles will present credentials to Governor-General Anand Satyanand at Government House in Auckland tomorrow (12 November) at 11.15am.

The Ambassadors of the Russian Federation, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and High Commissioner for Seychelles will present credentials to the Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, at Government House in Auckland tomorrow (12 November) at 11.15am.

The New Zealand Navy will provide the Maori Ceremonial Challenge and the Guard of Honour.

Andrey Tatarinov is the Russian Ambassador.  He joined the Foreign Service in 1973 and has had previous postings in Thailand, and two in Viet Nam, the most recent as Ambassador.  He was previously Asia-Pacific region Director in the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Alberto Fajardo Klappenbach is the Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.  He joined the Foreign Service in 1978 and has had previous postings to the United Kingdom, Los Angeles and as Ambassador to the Russian Federation.  He is now Ambassador to Australia

Dick Esparon is the High Commissioner for the Republic of Seychelles.  He held Director General positions across the public sector including Youth, Culture and Community Development ministries before becoming Ambassador to India in July 2007.

Omar Metwally Mohammed T. Metwally is the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt.  He has had previous postings to the Congo, United Kingdom, Tunisia, Germany and as Ambassador to Cyprus, Turkey and Australia.

Mr Tatarinov is based in Wellington while Mr Klappenbach and Mr Metwally are cross accredited from Canberra, and Mr Esparon from New Delhi.
