Credentials ceremony

Envoys from Cyprus, the European Commission and Colombia presented their credentials to the Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, at Government House Vogel on 17 February 2009. This was the first credentials ceremony to be held at the Governor-General's new home in Lower Hutt, while Government House Wellington is closed for a three-year conservation project.

Māori challenge

The Ambassador of Colombia, HE Diego Betancur, is challenged by a member of the Māori cultural party from the New Zealand Defence Force as a part of the credentials ceremony at Government House Vogel.
