Viewing a live neuron

The Centre for Brain Research was the first centre in the world to develop a technique to keep neurons alive outside the brain. Neurons are the cells that control our thinking processes and the ability to culture these cells offers massive potential for research into diseases that affect the brain and the drugs used to cure them.
