COVID Alert levels and tours
Alert level one - All tours take place. We ask that if people are unwell, they rebook for a later date. Contact details are retained for 8 weeks for tracing purposes. Please scan in on arrival.
Alert level two - Only ECE, primary and secondary school tours proceed. All other tours are cancelled.
Alert level three and four - No tours.
Please contact the Visitor Centre if you have any questions about your booking.
Bookings are now open for school, group and public tours.
Tours take around two hours and take place in the Visitor Centre, the main house and the garden (weather permitting). They explore the current and historic role of the Governor-General and the history of Government House, and include interactive displays and films.

Note: If your group has fewer than 6 people, and specialist needs, you can contact us to arrange an individualised group tour.

Public tour
For individuals or groups of 6 or less
Tours take around two hours and include the Visitor Centre, the main house and the garden (weather permitting).

For groups of more than 6 people
Community organisations, rest homes, work groups, large family groups and groups with specialist needs.
School tour
For ECE-Adult education groups
We can tailor a visit to meet students' needs and learning requirements.
