Reverend Penny Sinnamon, of Omakau, QSM, for services to the community
Reverend Penny Sinnamon is an ordained volunteer vicar for the Anglican Church. She has performed her duties with Dunstan Parish across most of Central Otago for many years. She is known for connecting personally with people in her community. She volunteered as Chaplain at Omakau School, working with children struggling in the classroom or feeling left out. She organised the school’s ANZAC Day commemorations. Reverend Sinnamon has been Club Captain of Omakau Golf Club and President of Omakau Citizens Association, held all offices with Valley Hockey Club and her local Rural Women branch, and been part of Omakau Musical Society.
