Ms Adine Wilson, of Auckland, MNZM for services to netball
Adine Wilson was part of the Silver Ferns squad that won the Netball World Cup in 2003. She captained the Silver Ferns from 2005 to 2007, including their historic first Commonwealth Games gold medal. She was prominent in establishing the New Zealand Netball Players’ Association and served on the Board, including time as Chair and interim Executive Manager. Domestically, she played for Southern Sting and captained Southern Steel. She is an athlete mentor and Trustee for the Tania Dalton Foundation, which supports young women in sport. Ms Wilson is a SKY sports presenter and a member of the Integrity in Sport and Recreation Establishment Board.
