Dame Rosanne Meo, DNZM, Auckland.

Dame Rosanne Meo is Chair of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra Trust Board, a trustee of the South Auckland Health Foundation, the Liggins Institute, and the Kelliher Charitable Trust. She steered the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra Trust Board through difficult circumstances in the early 2000s, working to restructure the organisation and make it a success. She is Chair of the Briscoe Group and the Real Estate Institute. She is a director of Overland Footwear and AMP Services New Zealand. She is a former Chair of TVNZ, and a Director of Sky TV, Ports of Auckland, and Ceramco, and was Chair and Director of the Forestry Corporation. Dame Rosanne has recently retired as a trustee of the Auckland School of Medicine. She was one of the judges for the 2010 Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award. She was a trustee of the Arts Foundation from 1999 to 2002 and was responsible for arranging critical sponsorship by AMP. Dame Rosanne played a significant role in establishing the AMP Scholarship Programme, which grants $200,000 annually to young New Zealanders. She is renowned for bringing her leadership experience in business into non-profit organisations and ensuring that they perform well, thus maximising their value to stakeholders and beneficiaries. Dame Rosanne was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1993.
