Brittany Packer
Brittany Packer, Newtown, received a Young Community Leader Award for her work in environmental issues. At 13 she represented New Zealand at an international summit in Japan and her personal campaign against plastic bags in supermarkets and waste reduction earned her an international award. She also attended the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference with the New Zealand youth delegation.
