Mary Yearbury QSM
Mary Yearbury, of Auckland, received the Queen’s Service Medal for services to the community. Mrs Yearbury has contributed to the Pukekohe community and Save the Children for more than 35 years. She has been an active member of the Save the Children South Auckland Branch since 1975, having served as President, voluntary shop assistant and fundraising officer. Since 1985 she has been organising frequent sightseeing tours to different parts of New Zealand and Australia, with a donation to Save the Children built into the ticket price. She has been a strong supporter and fundraiser for Rosehill Presbyterian Church, including serving as President of the Women’s Fellowship.
