Phillip Simpson
Phillip Simpson, of Tauranga, received the Queen's Service Medal for services to the community. He has been a member of the Rotary Clubs of Tokoroa, Rotorua, and Otūmoetai for a combined total of 30 years. He has served on the school Parent Teachers Association Committee of Matua Primary School and Otūmoetai Intermediate School. He has been a board member of Avalon Inc for many years, a vocational service for physically and mentally disadvantage people and a board member of the YMCA. Mr Simpson has been active with the Tauranga Veteran Golfers’ Society.
