Adam Hall, Dunedin, MNZM
For services to sport. Mr Hall was born with spina bifida, and is known for his dedication to his sport. Mr Hall won a gold medal in the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver. He has been a member of the New Zealand Disabled Ski Team since 2005 and was a member of the New Zealand Paralympic Ski Team in which he represented New Zealand at the 2006 Torino Paralympics in Italy. He was named New Zealand Snowsports Disabled Skier of the Year and New Zealand Snowsports Athlete of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and has been part of the prestigious Pinnacle Programme since 2008. This sports mentoring programme provides young athletes with professional and personal skills to help them reach world-best status.
