Mr Peter (Kerry) Clark, CNZM of Auckland, for services to bowls
Mr Clark has been CEO of Bowls New Zealand since its amalgamation, and has steered the sport through changing times to keep it relevant for new generations of bowlers. He is Chair of the World Bowls Laws committee and has overseen the re-write of laws three times. He chaired the Bowls Events New Zealand Board that organised the 2008 World Bowls Championships. In this role, he was also responsible for accessing the funding required to run the World Bowls International events in New Zealand and the World Bowls Internationals in Christchurch. Mr Clark is a Life Trustee of the Halberg Disability Foundation. He has been a World Bowls Technical Delegate to seven Commonwealth Games and eight other significant Games tournaments, and was Chair of New Zealand Sports Turf Institute.
