Dianne Daniels, of Paraparaumu, MNZM, for services to digital literacy education
Di Daniels began as a volunteer with the 2020 Communications Trust and went on to become the National Coordinator of its Computers in Homes programme, which provides New Zealand families with digital literacy training and access to free computers. She led the Trust’s Stepping UP programmes, a series of free learning modules allowing new users to build on their initial Computers in Homes training. Ms Daniels is currently Social Responsibility Manager at Remarkit Solutions, where she leads the Digital Wings project. The project acts as a point of connection with major corporations, businesses and organisations to supply computer hardware and training to under-served communities.
