The late Mr Fraser Cameron, of Opotiki, QSM, for services to the community and theatre
Fraser Cameron was President of the Ōpōtiki and Districts 10,000 Club, which promoted Ōpōtiki and the surrounding district, and served on the committee. He joined the Ōpōtiki Chamber of Commerce in 1964 and chaired the Nukutere Scout committee. He was a founding member of the Ōpōtiki De Luxe Theatre Community Trust and was involved in several capacities. He was a trustee of the Ōpōtiki Drama and Education Charitable Trust and was president and treasurer of the Ōpōtiki Rotary Club. Mr Cameron provided the sound system for the Ōpōtiki Anzac Day parades and Armistice Day services.
Mr Cameron’s insignia will be received by his son Stuart today.
