Mr Bevan Bradding and Mrs Margaret Bradding, of Hamilton, QSM for services to the community
Bevan Bradding is a former President of Hamilton Group Riding for the Disabled (RDA). Along with his wife, Margaret Bradding, they are current RDA Committee Members, having helped establish the organisation in 2004.
The couple have been involved in all aspects of the organisation, have helped organise Christmas celebrations and Sponsor Days, and continue to volunteer with RDA. Mr Bradding also runs the annual Ribbon Day barbeque.
Mr Bradding was a member of the East Hamilton Lions Club from 1972 to 2002, serving one year as President. He was a member of the committee that organised the construction of the Waitetuna Lodge and has coordinated the Lions Club’s cancer telephone appeal.
Mrs Bradding assisted the Hamilton Group RDA’s then Head Coach to attend the first New Zealand Para-Equestrian championships in 2010. She was a Dressage Judge for Dressage New Zealand for more than 20 years and a pool examiner for the Royal Life Saving Society from 1974 to 1993.
