Mr Roger Williams, of Auckland, QSM for services to conservation
Roger Williams is a civil engineer who designed and led the building of the viewing tower at the Maungatautari Ecological Island Reserve.
He has designed and built walkways, boardwalks, bridges and cycleways in local parks and nature reserves surrounding the Warkworth area.
At the Parry Kauri Park, he designed and built two Kauri Dieback Forest Hygiene Stations as a prototype for other at-risk areas. He is part of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society and has run their weeding and planting teams.
