Ms Celia Patrick, of Auckland, ONZM, for services to tennis.
Celia Patrick held positions with numerous tennis clubs and was a Senior Regional Representative in Hawke’s Bay. She was inaugural Chair of the Tennis Northern Region and Chair and President of the Tennis New Zealand (TNZ) Board, strengthening relationships with other national tennis organisations, in particular Tennis Auckland. She helped lead TNZ to invest in digital platforms to grow tennis and expand high-performance activities of the organisation and signed a partnership with Aotearoa Māori Tennis Association. She was the first New Zealander to be elected to the Board of the International Tennis Federation, holding various committee positions including Chair of the International Rules of Tennis Committee. Ms Patrick was elected to the Oceania Tennis Federation Board and is an honorary member of the International Tennis Club of New Zealand.
