Mr Greg Horton, MNZM, of Auckland, for services to philanthropy and governance
Greg Horton has provided financial support to a range of organisations and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable causes.
He was a committee member of the Leading the Way Campaign, which raised $201 million for the University of Auckland.
He is Chair of the Saint Kentigern Boys’ School Roselle Foundation. He is an Emirates Team New Zealand Board member.
He is a former director of Fulton Hogan, and continues to support Fulton Hogan and other entities as a business advisor.
He is Acting Chief Executive of Motor Neurone Disease New Zealand. Mr Horton, who lives with Motor Neurone Disease, personally raised $750,000 for the organisation in 2021.
