Dame Helen Winkelmann and Ms Holly Robinson, of Dunedin, MNZM for services to athletics
Holly Robinson attended her first IPC Athletics World Championship in 2011. She competed in two IPC Athletics World Championships, winning silver and bronze. She was the opening ceremony flag bearer at the 2016 Paralympic Games, winning silver in the women’s javelin F46 event. She won a further three silver medals at the World Para Athletics Championships and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She won Gold in the women’s javelin F46 event at the 2020 Paralympic Games. In 2021, Ms Robinson became the first Para athlete to win a medal in an open event at the New Zealand Track and Field Championships, winning silver in javelin.
