Representatives from Gideons International (Wellington Camp) called on the Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, at Government House Wellington on 19 February 2013, to present a commemorative Bible to mark the distribution of the 3 millionth copy of the Gideons Bible and New Testament in New Zealand. It is estimated that the 3 millionth copy was distributed in early 2012.
