West Coast Regional Visit Day Three
On the final day of their visit, the Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae and Lady Janine visited the National Mines Rescue Station at Runanga, Greymouth High School, and a new wetlands development near the mouth of the Grey River. They then placed a wreath on the Miners' Memorial on the flood wall in Greymouth. They were farewelled at Greymouth Railway Station by the students of John Paul II High School.
