Manginangina Kauri Walk
The Governor-General, Rt Hon Sir Anand Satyanand, and Lady Susan Satyanand, undertook the Manginangina Kauri Walk in the Puketi Forest on 4 February 2011. The walk attracts about 50,000 visitors annually. The boardwalk was originally erected in the mid 1990’s and protects the kauri’s sensitive feeding roots.
