Dark Sky Experience opening

Dame Patsy officially opened the new Dark Sky Experience in Takapō. Co-founded by Graeme Murray and Hide Ozawa in conjunction with Ngai Tahu, the new astro-tourism facility combines science and Maori starlore to take people on a journey around our galaxy. Later that evening, Dame Patsy headed to the Mt John Observatory for some outdoor stargazing.
