West Coast Day 1 - West Coast Treetop Walk

After lunch, the DOC team took Dame Patsy to visit the West Coast Treetop Walk. Sited on DOC land, the Walk meanders through 450 metres of mature rimu and kaimahi forest canopy and offers beautiful views across the rainforest and over nearby Lake Mahinapua. There's also a spiral tower and a cantilevered springboard which allows you to sway like the surrounding trees.
