Today, Dame Cindy and Dr Davies attended the 55th New Zealand Agricultural Fieldays, the largest agricultural event in the southern hemisphere. Dame Cindy spoke at the Primary Leaders Luncheon, before visiting some of the hubs showcasing what’s up and coming in the primary sector. This year saw the introduction of the Sustainability Hub, featuring Toitū Envirocare and youth initiative Future Farmers among the environmentally focused organisations exhibiting during Fieldays.
Dame Cindy and Dr Davies also visited the Hauora Taiwhenua Health and Wellbeing Hub, showcasing some of New Zealand’s rural health initiatives.
