Message sent to Dame Patsy from the Governor of New South Wales, General The Hon David Hurley, following the Christchurch mosque shootings.

The text of the message of condolence sent by HRH The Prince of Wales following the terroriat attack on Christchurch mosques:

“I have been deeply saddened by the appalling events in Christchurch today. Prince Philip and I send our condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives.

Statement released by Dame Patsy following the Christchurch mosque shootings:

Today’s tragic events in Christchurch have shocked all New Zealanders.

On International Women's Day, three women spoke about what the day meant to them. Dr Hiria Hape, who has been a kuia for several Governors-General, spoke about the impact of the contribution of the women in her family history.
