Mr Peter McNeur, of Masterton, KSM for services to education and the community
Peter McNeur sits on the National Executive of the Rural Education and Activities Programme (REAP) and was Director of REAP Wairarapa. He supported the reestablishment of the Early Childhood Centre on the East Side of Masterton as Ko Te Aroha Centre. He initiated the Computers in Homes digital literacy project. He helped initiate the White Ribbon movement locally and establish the Wairarapa Men’s Shed. He collaborated on Project Probe, to extend broadband to rural areas. He was Secretary of the Digital Seniors Community Board. Mr McNeur sits on the Wairarapa Workforce Development Trust and Vintage Aviation Hub Community Trust.
