Individuals and small groups wanting to tour the gardens at Government House Auckland, please go to the Public garden tour section of this page and book your place online.
Tours are guided. The tours do not go inside the house.
Our paths have stairs and are hilly and are not suitable for wheelchairs or walking frames. All participants on a garden tour must have good fitness and mobility and be able to walk and stand for 90 minutes. There is no opportunity to 'sit-out' for part of a tour.
Toilets are available. There is no public parking available onsite.

Public garden tour
For individuals or groups of 6 or fewer.
Tours take around 90 minutes. Gardens only. Good mobility and fitness required.
Group garden tour
For groups of 6 to 15 people.
Community organisations, rest homes, work groups, commercial tour groups and groups with specialist needs or interests.
