Mrs Dawn Sangster, of Ranfurly, MNZM for services to governance
Dawn Sangster served on the Maniototo Area School Board of Trustees and the John McGlashan College Board. She was the first woman chair of the Community Trust of Maniototo. With Agri-Women’s Development Trust, she has facilitated several programmes designed to support confidence, governance knowledge and leadership for the primary sector. She was elected to The Alliance Group Board of Directors, where she inspired and supported other women to step into governance. She is a director of her family farming businesses, GlenAyr Ltd; Nottingham Dairy Ltd; Farmlands Cooperative Society Ltd; and Maniototo Irrigation Co. Mrs Sangster is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
