Ms Carol Angland, of Wānaka, KSM for services to the community and theatre
Ms Carol Angland has been a volunteer member of the South Canterbury Drama League for 45 years, chairing the Repertory Section, serving as President, and writing and directing several plays. She organised door-to-door and street collections for Arthritis South Canterbury. With Hospice South Canterbury, she has volunteered as a video producer, home carer, retail assistant and biographer, recording patients’ life stories for their families. She co-organised South Canterbury Wine and Food Festivals, a major Hospice fundraiser. Ms Angland has authored histories of Hospice South Canterbury, Presbyterian Support South Canterbury, Tennis South Canterbury and The Mid and South Canterbury Community Trust.
