Mrs Judene Edgar, of Nelson, MNZM for services to governance, local government and the community
Mrs Judene Edgar is a Network Tasman Trustee. She was a Director of Nelson Airport, Nelson Bays Primary Health Trust, and Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. She was Board Secretary of the Cawthron Institute Trust Board. She is New Zealand Lead for Chapter Zero, an international climate governance network. She served as a Tasman District Councillor and as Deputy Mayor on the Nelson City Council. She is a member of the Lottery Community Facilities Fund committee, Deputy Chair of the Rātā Foundation, and Chair of the Nelson Historic Theatre Trust (Theatre Royal). Mrs Edgar oversaw fundraising for the Richmond Aquatic Centre and the Murchison Sport, Recreation and Cultural Centre.
