Ms Jane Manson, of Hamilton, KSM for services to the community
Ms Jane Manson created the monthly Tamahere Country Market, which attracts 20,000 annual visitors to over 100 stalls, and supports St Stephen’s Church and its community outreach. She is Chair of Mahi Mihinare Anglican Action, assisting vulnerable members of the community. Ms Manson provides liaison between the Church and the Tamahere Community Committee. She led the Tamahere-Woodlands Heritage Committee in its work with mana whenua to create a heritage board depicting both Māori and early settler history in Tamahere, as well as a board adjacent to the Te Awa Cycleway underpass depicting Māori history
