Judith Finn
Judith Finn, of Te Aroha, received the Queen's Service Medal, for services to the community. Mrs Finn has been an active member of the Te Aroha community for more than 40 years. A member of the Te Aroha-Morrinsville Community Orchestra from 1975, Mrs Finn was was elected secretary, a position she held until the Orchestra finished in 2004. She was secretary of the Te Aroha Arts and Crafts Club for many years, and Chair from 1982 to 1985, and represented it on the Piako Community Arts Council. She has been involved with St Mark’s Anglican Church, teaching Sunday School and as secretary and President of the Evening Fellowship. She has been Secretary of the Te Aroha Red Cross Society for many years, and is Treasurer of the district’s Senior Citizens Association. Mrs Finn is a longstanding member of the New Zealand Women's Institute and was awarded the Waikato East Federation's Merit Badge.
