Professor Anthony Angelo, ONZM, Wellington
For services to legal education. Professor Anthony Angelo has a long-standing interest in the law of small states and has published extensively on the laws of small nations in the Pacific, Mauritius and Seychelles. He is a Professor at the Law Faculty of Victoria University of Wellington. He is currently involved with a number of projects, including Private International Law monographs, case law digests for the Seychelles and articles on aspects of constitutional development and decolonisation in the South Pacific. The Angelo South Pacific Postgraduate Educational Scholarship was established in recognition of the long standing professional relationship between Professor Angelo, and countries of the South Pacific.
