For services to nursing research. Associate Professor Annette Huntington, Director of Nursing at Massey University, has conducted internationally recognised research into nursing and women’s health. She has recently undertaken research on the nursing workforce, examining health, wellbeing and work-related stress using innovative methodology. She has been actively involved in the development and implementation of national policies for nursing innovations and education. She is New Zealand Director of both the Nurses and Midwives e-Cohort Study, and the Graduate Nurses Study, in collaboration with Australia, Canada, and the UK. Associate Professor Huntington is on the editorial boards of several international journals and was appointed an Honorary Royal New Zealand Nursing Corps Colonel Commandant.
