State Welcome for the President of Kiribati

The President of Kiribati, HE Anote Tong, and HE Mrs Meme Tong, were welcomed to New Zealand by the Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, with a State Welcome at Government House Auckland on 4 June 2008. The President is pictured being challenged by a Maori cultural party from the New Zealand Defence Force.
