Christopher Darlow
Christopher Darlow, of North Shore, received the Insignia of a Member of the NZ Order of Merit on 25 September 2008, for services to the law. Mr Darlow has contributed many years of service to the law and to Law Society affairs in New Zealand. He was the president of the New Zealand Law Society from 2003 to 2007, the maximum permitted service allowed. He was also a member of the Auckland District Law Society Council for over 30 years, including several as president. He has been involved in the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, which included work on proposals for the change from a federal to a unitary organisational model.
