Douglas Page
Douglas Page, of Takaka, received the Queen's Service Medal for services to brass bands. Mr Page has played in the Takaka Citizens Band for 75 years and been involved at all levels and many events more than this time. He was the Band Custodian for 40 years and Band Sergeant for 20 years. He has helped raise funds for numerous new instruments and uniforms. Mr Page is a life member of the band and has been the Patron since 1996.
