Patricia Hill
Dr Patricia Hill, of Wellington, received the Queen’s Service Medal for services to community health, on 2 September 2008. She developed the Te Aro Health Clinic into a model inner city practice and is committed to advancing the physical and mental health of the poor, homeless, and immigrants by offering low cost, accessible medical care. The clinic was awarded a Cornerstone Practice Certificate of Accreditation in 2006. Dr Hill is a Distinguished Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners and has also been a teacher of medical students and an examiner and supervisor for the College’s primary membership examination.
