Mr Timothy (Tim) Gresson, of Timaru, MNZM for services to the law and sport
Mr Gresson is a lawyer and served as Crown Solicitor, Timaru. He is a member of the South Canterbury Rugby Referees Association and a former member of the New Zealand Rugby Board, New Zealand Rugby Laws Committee, Game Regulations Committee, and Judicial Control Authority for Racing Appeal Tribunal. He was Chairman of the Referees Section Sub-committee of World Rugby, International Rugby Board Judicial Panel, World Rugby Anti-doping Judicial Panel, and South Canterbury Rugby Football Union. He has been Judicial Chairman of five Rugby World Cups. Mr Gresson was an Anti-Corruption Officer for New Zealand Cricket and served as legal counsel to investigate allegations of match fixing by international players.
