Dame Helen Winkelmann and Mr Phillip Duval, of Christchurch, QSM for services to the community
Phillip Duval was the volunteer coordinator of the Christchurch Police Kiosk in Cathedral Square, managing upwards of 120 volunteers at various times. He is a Board Member and President of the Home and Family Society Christchurch, instrumental in project-managing the restoration of the Community of the Sacred Name Convent. He is a founding trustee and current Chair of Te Tapuwae o Rakau Trust, which is focused on planting 10 million eco-sourced native plants and trees on the Christchurch Port Hills. Mr Duval is a Justice of the Peace and former Vice President of the New Zealand College of Business.
