Governor-General visits Timaru

As part of a visit to Timaru, the Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, and Mrs Susan Satyanand, visited the historic Pleasant Point Museum and Railway on 6 October 2007. The Governor-General, as Prior of the Order of St John, also officiated at an investiture ceremony for the Order at the Sacred Heart Basilica.
