Launch of the Waitangi Charitable Foundation
The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, and Lady Janine Mateparae hosted a Waitangi National Trust Board reception at Government House Wellington on 16 October 2012, to launch the Waitangi Charitable Foundation which has been set up to raise funds for the proposed museum on the Treaty Grounds.
