Southland Regional Visit - Monday 24 September
On the first day of their first official visit to Southland, the Governor-General, Sir Jerry Mateparae, and Lady Janine Mateparae, were welcomed on to Murihiku Marae, near Invercargill, and later visited Venture Southland to receive a tourism briefing. In the evening they co-hosted a reception with Venture Southland before hosting a dinner for local government leaders.
