Visit to the Chinese Settlement, Arrowtown

Dame Patsy and Sir David toured the Chinese Settlement in Arrowtown with DOC. The settlement is one of the most visited historic sites in New Zealand and while most of the former miners' huts are reconstructions on the original foundations, Ah Lum's Store is largely original. The couple also heard about DOC's efforts to curb the growth of wilding pines in the region.
