Dr Lesley Rameka and Mr Chris Lewis were among the recipients acknowledged at this afternoon's investiture ceremony at Government House Wellington – Dr Rameka for her pioneering academic work on Māori early learning in New Zealand, and Mr Lewis for his remarkable tennis career, including reaching the Wimbledon final in 1983 as an unseeded player. Other recipients were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions across literature, theatre and television, health, and Pacific communities.
