This morning's honours recipients included Dame Ranjna Patel DNZM, who was acknowledged for her work in promoting health and community wellbeing. Dame Ranjna founded Gandhi Nivas, an intervention service focussed on reducing family harm. Hon Steven Joyce CNZM, a former senior Government Minister, was recognised for his service as a Member of Parliament, and Catherine Bell MNZM was acknowledged for her contribution to the Garden to Table Trust, which educates school children on growing, harvesting, and cooking vegetables.
